The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates regarding alleged OMR sheets and other documents related to NEET UG 2026 that are circulating on social media. According to the agency, its preliminary assessment indicates that some of the viral documents appear to have been created using artificial intelligence (AI) or digitally manipulated.
The NTA clarified that any information related to the examination should be verified only through its official records and authorized platforms. It cautioned that relying on unverified content circulating on social media could create confusion among candidates.
The agency also stated that anyone found creating fake documents, sharing them, or using them to spread misleading information may face legal action under the applicable laws.
The NTA appealed to candidates and parents to obtain information only through official channels in case of any doubts and to avoid rumors or unverified claims. The agency said that all complaints and objections are examined through the prescribed procedure to ensure transparency in the examination process.
