Amid the ongoing CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, a two-member delegation of the organization met BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda and submitted a memorandum outlining several of their demands. The meeting is being viewed as an important step toward dialogue between the protesters and the government.
The delegation called for greater transparency in national-level entrance examinations, reforms in the examination system, better protection of students' interests, and stronger accountability in the education system. They also drew the government's attention to several other issues, including the demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
After the meeting, CJP leaders said they had presented all their demands to the government in detail. However, no immediate decision or official assurance was announced by the government. The organization stated that its protest would continue until concrete action is taken on its demands.
Earlier, tensions had erupted between protesters and the Delhi Police during the Parliament march. Since then, the initiation of talks between the government and the protesters has been seen as a positive development.
Attention is now focused on how the government responds to the CJP's demands and the direction future discussions may take.
