With the beginning of the month, businesses using commercial LPG cylinders have received welcome relief. Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by up to ₹183.50. The revised rates came into effect across the country from July 1, 2026.

In the national capital, Delhi, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced to ₹2,930, compared to the earlier price of ₹3,113.50. This price cut will directly benefit hotels, restaurants, roadside eateries, catering services, and other small and large commercial establishments where LPG consumption is high.

Oil marketing companies review LPG prices on the first day of every month based on international crude oil prices, import costs, and prevailing market conditions. While commercial LPG cylinder prices have been reduced this time, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.

Experts believe that cheaper commercial LPG could help reduce operating costs in the food and hospitality sector. However, the extent to which this benefit reaches end consumers will depend on the pricing decisions of individual businesses.
